Tití de cuello largo / Long necked marmoset

Recientemente he podido ver fotos de un extraordinario mono amazónico. No está muy claro para qué emplea este tití semejante cuello, si representa alguna ventaja adaptativa sobre sus congéneres de cuello corto o si por el contrario es un camino sin salida de la evolución.

Recently I have been shown some photos of an extraordinary amazonian monkey. It’s not very clear for what purpose does this little marmoset use so long a neck, if it represents a clear adaptive advantage against its short necked cousins, or maybe it is an evolutionary dead end.
